The Great Shwedagon (Yangon)
The 2500 years old Yangon's Shwe Dagon Pagoda is one of the world's
greatest monuments. It is a center of religious faith for the people
of Myanmar and beyond , it is also the most memorable symbol of
this Golden Land. A visit to Yangon is incomplete without a visit
to the Great Shwe Dagon Pagoda which is believed to be the earliest
one of this Buddhist era.

Yangon (Rangoon)is the capital city and gateway to Myanmar (Burma).
Founded in 1755 and the name of "Yangon" means "End
of Strife" (or) "City of Peace".

Old Royal Palace (Mandalay)
Mandalay was founded in 1857 as the capital city of the Konbaung
Dynasty by King Mindon. The Mandalay Royal Palace boasts finely
built palace walls and a beautiful moat surrounding this forestress.
Mandalay also is the principle centre for Buddhist studies in Myanmar.
Majestic Bagan (Bagan)
Bagan is one of the archaeological sites in Asia, and considered
one of the culture heritage of the world. The temples, sstupas and
pagodas of Bagan are the most impressive relics of the first period
of Myanmar greatness. Bagan covers more than 42 square kilometers
and lied on the eastern bank of the mighty Irrawaddy river. Bagan
is also famous for its unique lacquer ware and handicrafts.

Fisherman is Inle Lake (Shan State)
Inle Lake is surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Shan State
and situated 1328 meters above sea level. It is famous for its floating
villages, colorful floating markets, let-rowers, silk weaving and
traditional silverware handicrafts. A huge pagoda festival was held
every year in September (or) October.

Kyaikhtiyo (or) the Golden Rock Stupa
(Mon State)
The famous legendary Pagoda on the Golden Rock about 160 Km from
Yangon and 11 km of hiking from the base camp at Kyaikhto. Visitors
can also go by car up to a point about a mile away from the Pagoda.
This pagoda is situated on a rocky mountain 3615 ft above sea level.
The Kyaikhtiyo pagoda is one of the most ancient and celebrated
of all pagodas in Myanmar. It is situated in the vicinity of Kyaikhto
township, Thaton district. The pagoda is said to have been built
during the life-time of the Buddha over 2400 years ago.
